Courses Model Finishing School offers a variety of courses to suit the varying needs of the youth of Kerala. Employability Enhancement Programme - Professionally Qualified Youths Since May 2008, Model Finishing School has been conducting the Employability Enhancement Programme for professionally qualified youths of Kerala. The structured course extends over a period of 40 days, covering technical and soft skills.The course is so structured to equal focus on technical and soft skills. The sessions in soft skills are aimed at exposing students in areas most needed in varying stages of life and job, say, communication, interpersonal skills and team building, to name some. Equal accent is laid on enhancing the English language skills of the students. Unemployed B.Tech (all branches) / MCA / MBA / M.Sc (Computer Science / Electronics / IT) / B.Sc (Computer Science / Electronics / IT) graduates belonging to Kerala are eligible to apply. Notification || Application Form Embedded Systems in Project Applications The 15 day long  Course on Embedded Systems in Project Applications  is aimed at exposing students in the area of Embedded Systems. The Course curriculum is so designed  to give importance for doing Projects in Embedded System Design. Students who have completed/studying  B.Tech (Computer Science/Electronics/IT), MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science/Electronics/IT), BCA/B.Sc(Computer Science/Electronics/IT) and Diploma holders/students  from Polytechnics are eligible for applying this course. Notification || Course content || Online Application Advanced Course in Embedded Systems The month-long Advanced Course in Embedded Systems is aimed at students and faculty members and as such two separate batches are being planned. The regular batch is on weekdays from Monday thru Friday and the weekend batch will be Saturdays and Sundays. Students who have completed B.Tech (Computer Science/Electronics/IT), MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science / Electronics / IT ), BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science/Electronics/IT) and Diploma holders from Polytechnics are eligible for applying this course. Course Content   Soft Skills and Business Communication – MBA and Post Graduate Management Diploma Holders Aimed at equipping students with skills that will hold them good in life, the month-long course training would include soft skills and business communication. The structured course involving a methodology of lectures, self-work and group tasks are aimed at improving the confidence level of students besides making them conversant with different aspects of business communication. Facilities Offered Faculty Training is provided by faculty members drawn from diverse fields and trained by Infosys, complemented by expert faculty from the industry. Infrastructure The Model Finishing School has the necessary infrastructure to train 90 students simultaneously, divided into three batches of 30. The air-conditioned classrooms are equipped with one-to-one computers, ergonomically designed chairs and overhead projectors. The ambience at the Model Finishing School has been so created so as to give the students an exposure to work in the corporate setting.   Accommodation Model Finishing School does not make any accommodation arrangements for outstation candidates. There are however several Government and private run hostels in the vicinity, in which students can get themselves convenient accommodation at affordable rates.
